On October 10, 2024, the LEAP-RE Stakeholder Forum hosted the Scientific & Methodological Clusters session at Politecnico di Milano, featuring insightful discussions on cutting-edge topics such as digital technologies, artificial intelligence, energy systems, and the circular economy.

We are proud to share that Corneliu Barbu, Associate Professor at Aarhus University and Project Coordinator of the AfricaEnergyParks project, presented during Session 3: Energy Systems and Modelling with Considerations to the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. His presentation highlighted innovative approaches to integrating energy systems within the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, showcasing the role of the AfricaEnergyParks project in advancing renewable energy solutions for rural communities and supporting sustainable development in Africa.

The session provided an excellent platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions on the future of energy systems and their intersection with sustainable resource management, contributing to the broader objectives of climate resilience.
