On July 15th, we proudly released the second edition of the AfricaEnergyParks Newsletter, highlighting the transformative work taking place in Northern Ghana with the introduction of improved cookstoves (ICS).

This edition features an insightful piece by Louise Williamson, AfricaEnergyParks partner from Ener-G-Africa, sharing her first-hand experience with the community as they trial five different ICS models, aimed at improving health, reducing emissions, and promoting sustainable cooking.

The newsletter also provides an overview of upcoming events focused on energy innovation and sustainability, such as:

  • Off-Grid Expo + Conference 2025 (Augsburg, Germany, October 30-31, 2025)
  • Renewable Energy Forum Africa (REFA) 2025 (Accra, Ghana, December 3-4, 2025)

Additionally, the newsletter highlights the positive impact of clean cooking technologies in rural Ghana and outlines next steps, including the distribution of 1,500 stoves by September 2025.
